LIMA House & Senate Leaders: Call a Special Session to Pass HB248 & Impeach Governor DeWine

House Speaker Cupp and Senate President Huffman,

I speak to you as a fellow resident of Lima, OH, and realize the power and responsibility that WE have in our community, over the direction and freedom of our fellow Ohioans.

Right now, more and more ‘private businesses’ are forcing their employees to choose between taking an experimental injection, or losing their jobs. You MUST ACT NOW to call a Special Session of the General Assembly to reconvene and expedite the passage of HB248, which would protect our Front-line Workers and all Ohioans from unconstitutional violations of our civil liberties.

Speaking of that, while it is understood that Impeachment must start in the House, it’s also clear that when the House and Senate leadership have coordinated interests, things can be achieved in a reasonable time.

At every turn well over the last year, Governor DeWine has mocked the authority of the General Assembly and the autonomy of the People of the State of Ohio. This is a matter which transends Party: whether Republican or Democrat or Independent, it is long past time to hold him accountable for the many crimes he has committed in office.

The most recent mockery of our laws is Governor DeWine’s administration of a lottery with federal funds and involving minors.  Beyond that, the Governor continues to promote exaggerated fears over COVID, and encourages businesses across the State to violate the civil liberties of Ohioans who choose not to consume the experimental vaccination products from Pfizer, Moderna and J&J, as is already being done by several major hospital systems in Columbus and across the State, as well as smaller businesses. (It is also well known that he holds stock in and/or has received significant campaign donations from some of these corporations.)

At the bottom of this email, I’ve listed 12 offenses perpetrated by the Governor since early 2020.

Any one of them should be sufficient cause to remove him from office, but all together they paint the picture of a man who cannot be allowed to hold such extraordinary power over the People of Ohio ever again, and certainly not for the remainder of his term.

The Constitution of the United States and that of Ohio were written for a reason, and with clearly defined separation of powers, so that no one man could rule.  But, Governor DeWine has been allowed to do just that: 1 man acting as Legislator, Juror and Executor.  This cannot be allowed to continue.

Offenses for Articles of Impeachment:

  1. Violation of the Separation of Powers
  2. Cancellation of the Primary Election of March 17, 2020
  3. Establishing a new date for said Primary Election to June 2, 2020
  4. Closed and restricted private businesses and health care
  5. Exceeded Executive authority by closing all schools
  6. Recklessly promoting inaccurate forecasts and misleading COVID-19 data
  7. Violated civil liberties of those forced to wear masks through his mandate
  8. Extending his mask mandates to churches in violation of religious liberty
  9. Reckless promotion of fear and division
  10. Usurped Congress’ interstate regulation authority by limiting liquor sales
  11. Promoted the mass delivery of experimental medicine
  12. Promoted a gambling scheme for minors using federal funds

Sincerely,

John Sally Doe
