Flattening The Curve
In late March 2020, Acton predicted a peak of 10,000 cases a day being the reason we had to immediately shut down for 2, then 4, then 8 weeks or more for some. They claim it eventually happened...in November 2020.
Locking-away Grandma
One of the impacts of Acton's early orders resulted in the isolation of the elderly. For months, many weren't allowed to get near their family in nursing homes. Actual in-person, same-room reunions didn't occur until late June 2021, when SB22 took effect and DeWine finally had the order rescinded.
Stopping the Election
Late on March 16, 2020, DeWine attempted to stop the next day's Primary Election. The Franklin County Judge ruled that DeWine did not have the power to do so. Within hours, late near midnight, DeWine conspired with Acton to write a Health Order suspending the Primary Election.
